ForgePoint Capital leads a $15 million Funding round for NowSecure

NowSecure, A company based out of Chicago, which develops security tools for mobile-app developers, announced that it has raised $15 million in funding.
Originally founded as ViaForensics nearly a decade ago, the company, now has as many as 70 employees, spread between Seattle, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
As per reports, the latest funding was spearheaded by ForgePoint Capital, headquartered in San Mateo, Calif., that provides cybersecurity investments.
Jump Capital MATH Venture Partners and Baird Capital are some of the other investors of NowSecure.
Ever since revamping its management team over the past couple of years, NowSecure has gone on to double its revenue, headcount and customers, speaking on which the company’s chief mobility officer Brian Reed said, “We (NowSecure) have witnessed an incredible growth in the past couple of years, as we have seen substantial uptick in concern regarding mobile security.”
As per reports, in the next couple of years, NowSecure expects to double its headcount. Currently, Motorola, Allstate, Northern Trust, and Vivid Seats are some of its well-known customers.
